Stephen Kenn and his wife, Beks Opperman, are fellow Angelenos who make incredibly exciting furniture and homegoods. Every piece is meticulously handmade and beautifully balances minimalist style with an abundance of rich texture.
Providence
No one loves the ocean, sustainable fishing, or bourbon as much as Chef Michael Cimarusti. Together with the effortlessly charming Donato Poto, they run the Two Michelin Star, Los Angeles OG, seafood meca that is Providence. If you want fine dining in Hollywood, this is where you should be.
Astrea Caviar
Luxury doesn't really come in any higher form than what you'll taste with Astrea Caviar. From the peaceful growing conditions for their 10 to 25 year old sturgeon, to the sub-3% salt curing, the depth and complexity is immediately noticeable, and truly worthy of any special occasion.
Holyrood Distillery
Holyrood is the first whisky distillery in Edinburgh for almost 100 years and they're taking that responsibility seriously. Marc Watson, Head Distiller, and Nick Ravenhall, Managing Director, are up in the ranks as the geekiest whiskey geeks, studying ancient grains and yeasts to make classically inspired, but thoroughly modern whisky.
The Cairn Distillery
In the rolling hills of Speyside is a stunning new distillery from Gordon & MacPhail, the legendary indepenent bottler and owner of Benromach. No detail has been missed and no expense has been spared by the team headed up by Mhairi Winters, Distillery Manager, and Andy Kitchin, Visitor Experience Director. Does we really have to wait until 2042 for the first bottling?!
