Purposefully Designed
The Bennuaine Whisky Glass has been meticulously designed to provide you with a detailed yet comfortable nosing and drinking experience.
Form
-
Height
The elevated glass adds presence and elegance, yet it's not too tall so that it feels easy to knock over, or can’t fit in a dishwasher.
-
Ultra-Light
The lightweight design of the crystal glass provides an extremely comfortable and effortless drinking experience. Titanium additives ensure durability.
-
Clarity & Brilliance
The crystal glass meets the highest of European production standards. It's free of distortion and reflects light cleanly and gracefully.
Function
-
Volume
The wide maximum diameter enables up to a 2oz or 50ml pour to rest comfortably in the widest parts of the bowl. There's plenty of space inside the glass to hold those great aromas.
-
Focus
A dramatic linear taper concentrates all the aromas up to a short neck where they can closely intermingle before releasing into open air.
-
Release
The flared lip allows your nose to get close to the concentrated aromas, while providing some distance from the spirit so you are not overwhelmed. The spirit enters your mouth towards mid-palate and with fair volume.

Bennuaine offers excellent balance between high aeration and significant focus. The wide maximum diameter enables up to a 2oz or 50ml pour to rest comfortably in the widest parts of the bowl. The large surface area enables more oxygen to interact with the spirit, encouraging greater release of the compounds that produce all those wonderful scents. A linear taper then concentrates those aromas up to a short neck where they can closely intermingle before releasing into open air. The flared lip cups your nose to lock in the detailed aromas, while providing some distance so you are not overwhelmed. It's all a delicate balance.
Elevates the drinking experience!
Elegant in the hand, visually pleasing, and enhances the tasting experience by more broadly distributing the liquid across the palate. This is due to the broad shape of the lip of the glass, in contrast to the sharper/narrower edge of a Glencarin glass. I find the Bennuaine glass particularly good for higher proof whiskies and especially peated Scotch whisky. Nice product and worthy addition to your bar!

Awesome glasses
Far better tasting experience

Great
Very impressed. Great aroma

World class
Love the glass. Feels great, looks great, wouldn’t change a thing! Perfect for high proof whiskey. Perfect explanation provided when compared to the classic Glencarin glass (which I’ve been using for years), totally agree. Looking forward to trying some 1972 vintage armangac next!

Beautiful
What a great glass. Lightweight, beautiful and well made. Haven’t tried anything from it yet but looking forward to it
